 Laura Robey, CBAP - President
Laura Robey has been performing business analysis in one form or another for the world's largest retailer for over 15 years. She started her career with Walmart Inc. as a programmer in HR systems, working on a variety of projects including bonus and recruiting/hiring software applications.  Later, she transitioned to the business analyst role and continued performing analysis work on projects within the compensation, payroll, and diversity domains.

She has a passion for visual models in business requirements and has incorporated them wherever she could, ever since one of her business partners asked her to "draw me a picture..." in one of their sessions. Prior to her president role, Laura served the chapter as the Vice President of Communications for 4 years. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and achieved the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation from the IIBA® in April 2014 and the IIBA® Agile Analysis Certification in September 2021.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading murder mysteries.

Wayne Hashimoto
VP of Professional Development
Wayne began his Business Analyst career while serving in the US Army.  He was assigned as a Senior HR Project Analyst (Sergeant Major) from 1994 to 2001.  Wayne left the profession and returned to be a Business Analyst in 2009 after spending time as a Programmer Intern, Mainframe Programmer and Project Lead.  He obtained his BS in Computer Information Systems and a MS in Management of Information Technology as well during this time.
From 2009 to 2017, Wayne filled the role as a Walmart ISD Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, and Business Solutions Analyst.  During this time, he completed numerous Business Analysis training courses and was certified to teach those same classes.  Those classes include:
1.    Business Analysis Boot Camp
2.    Business Analysis Work Plan
3.    Elicitation and Collaboration Workshop
4.    Business Process Analysis and Design
5.    Designing and Facilitating JAD Workshops
6.    Developing Requirements with Use Cases
7.    Prototyping
8.    Modeling 1 and 2

In addition, he attended:
1.    Agile Boot Camp
2.    Collaborating & Communicating Agile Requirements
Last year, Wayne attended a new course called, Business Analysis on COTS Projects which proved to be very beneficial in his current role at Murphy USA.
In 2017, his position at Walmart was eliminated and he was offered a position at Murphy USA in El Dorado, Arkansas, as the Manager for the Business Analyst Team.  The company had never had Business Analysts prior to his arrival and the CIO wanted him to stand up the practice.  Wayne used the BABOK and the IIBA standards as a foundation for the practice and today he finds that he has more requests for help then he has Business Analysts!
Wayne is currently standing up an Internship program for Technology Services as he has been piloting one for the last 2 years.  He was able to hire his BA Intern from last year and he will have a returning BA Intern for this (2020) summer.  He is a firm believer in the benefits of the BBC Conference where in 2017 he was a presenter and has managed to send a BA every year since his arrival at Murphy USA.  Wayne conducts training as well as sends his Business Analysts to ASPE training classes which includes BA Boot Camp, Agile Scrum Master, and ECBA Workshops.
Wayne is married to Debi, who is an Army veteran and retired Registered Nurse.  His daughter, Naomi is co-owner of Woof and Wander, Inc. in Rogers, AR (OU Grad) and his son, Nick is also a Registered Nurse.  He resides in Houston with his family, Jenni, who is a Medical Assistant, daughter - Madison (12) and son – Kenji (5).  Wayne enjoys playing golf and fishing with his family.

Larry McCallister, VP of
Finance
My career in banking began in 2006 with a mortgage company.  I learned that I have a passion for teaching and helping others enhance their careers.  I moved into a training role that allowed me to travel the US and learn leadership from many different organizations.  Using my college education, I was able to combine my instructor led training with software and taught myself how to develop online training courses. I enjoyed development, but ultimately wanted to help others grow.  This is when I was given the opportunity to lead a team of multimedia specialists and helped create training resources for our organization.  During this time, I became skilled with negotiating requirements and talking to stakeholders and I also earned my Masters in Education.   From here, I moved into IT and began supporting our SharePoint environment.  This is where I learned about application development and how to wireframe.  Shortly after I combined my leadership skills, business analysis knowledge, and passion for people to become a Business Analysis Manager.  My goal is always to help others grow and drive change in careers and organizations.

Diana Harvison, CBAP - Past President

I began my career as a Business Analyst in IT in 1999, and served as the liaison between the business and IT for four years prior to that. I have a BS in Business Administration. In 2004, I was happy to discover the IIBA organization and began my investigation into certification. In 2012, I finally sat for the exam and was granted my CBAP certification.  I am excited to see the world recognizing the business analysis practitioner as a career path of its own. I’m passionate about the role of the BA in the 21st Century and helping practitioners transform from traditional BA practices to value based practices and beyond.
